Century Masterfile
The library subscribes to Series I in the 19th Century Masterfile
database. Series I includes periodical indices covering nearly
all of the periodicals of the late eighteenth through early twentieth
century. It includes over 1 million citations. Of particular interest
in this database is the Jones and Chipman Index to Periodical
Literature, 1786-1922.

provided through ProQuest. ABI/INFORM Dateline covers local
and regional business publications. Provides access to business

business periodicals, access to information on 60,000 + companies
with business and executive profiles. Now includes The Wall Street
Journal. (1971 - current). ABI/INFORM Trade & Industry
covers trade and industry periodicals and newsletters (1971
- current). Hoover's Company Records provides current profiles
of more than 40,000 public and non-public companies and 225,000

Research Service (CRS)
CRS works exclusively for members and committees of the United
States Congress. An arm of the Library of Congress, the agency

historical and current legal frameworks on domestic and international
